Make easy Delicious Pav Bhaji in home

 Introduction

If we talk about street food then how can we forget pav bhaji. Be it family functions or parties, pav bhaji is a favourite of elders even among kids. Chatpata masala and mashed vegetables are considered delicious pav bhaji. 

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium potato, boiled and mashed 
  • 2 chopped cauliflower , boiled
  • 1/2 cup green peas, boiled
  • 1/2 cup capsicum,  chopped
  • 1 large onion , chopped
  • 2 tomato , chopped 
  • 2 green chillies, fine chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp red chilli Powder 
  • 2 tbsp pav bhaji masala 
  • Salt as per your test
  • Fresh coriander leaves

For pav

  • 6-8 pav buns ( you can find esiliye at any bakeri)
  • 1 tbsp pav bhaji masala
  • 1 tbsp Butter 

Let's start cook

prepration for veggies:

  • Heat the Butter: Melt two tablespoons of butter in a large pan over medium heat.
  •  Add the chopped onions and sauté them until they turn translucent.

  • Tomatoes and Ginger-Garlic Addition: Cook for a further minute after adding the green chilies and ginger-garlic paste. After that, add the diced tomatoes and heat them through.
  • Cook the Tomatoes: Add the tomato puree and heat the mixture until the oil separates. 
  • Add Vegetables: Add the mixed vegetables with the boiling and mashed potatoes. Stir everything thoroughly and taste for salt. 
  • Mash the Bhaji: To let the flavors to merge, mash the mixture even more with a potato masher. If more water is required for consistency, add it now.
  • Simmer: Allow it to gently cook for five to ten minutes, stirring now and then. To suit your taste, add or subtract salt and/or spice. When finished, add some fresh coriander leaves as a garnish.
  • Toasted the Pav: Melt butter in a different pan. Once the butter has melted, cut the Pav in half and toast them till brown and crispy.

Prepration for pav:

  • Plate the Bhaji: Transfer the heated bhaji onto a bowl and garnish it with sliced onions and coriander along with a dollop of butter.
  • Pav: Arrange the toasted Pav next to the dish and present it with lemon wedges for an extra zest.

Tips for perfect pav bhaji:

  • Veggies: You can add vegetables as per your choice in the pure bhaji. And do not mash the vegetables too much as the texture of the vegetables tastes very good in the pure bhaji.
  • Spices: You can add spices as per your taste. If you like more spicy food then you can add more green chillies or red chilli powder.
  • Butter: The real taste of pav bhaji is with butter, so there is absolutely no shortage of butter.

You can make pav bhaji at home in an easy way. If you feel like eating some good chatpata or something different then pav bhaji will be a best option. You can make this in breakfast, lunch or dinner as well and you can make your eating time the best time.
