Delicious and easier Mawa barfi recipe

Introduction:

Sweets are such things that  favourites of everyone from adults to kids. In our home, we always have a sweet start to any good work. There are a lot of sweets that we know, among them there is such a recipe as "Mava barfi" which we can easily make at home too. Let's see how make it in  your home  with 5 -6 ingredients.


Ingredients:

  • 500 gm mava
  • 1 cup suger powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Ilyich Powder
  • Chopped dri fruit ( almond, chased)
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • Silver paper

Let's start make:

Step 1 : prepration for mava:

First add 1 tablespoon ghee in a deep pan and let it heat. Then add mawa in it and stir till golden brown.

Step 2: Add Sugar:

Once the mawa becomes golden brown, add 1 cup sugar powder and added Ilaychi powder cook  low flame until mixture a smooth consistence. 

Step 3: Shape the Barfi:

Once the mawa becomes smooth and of consistency, grease a rectangle with ghee and add cooked mawa in it and level the top and press the mixture down firmly.

Step4:Garnish:

Sprinkle chopped nuts(cashews, almonds) on top and press it on the burfi.

You can also add silver laffi to the barfi during the festival.

Step5: Set and Slice:

Once the barfi is set, cut it into square or diamond shapes.

Step6: Serve:

Your Mawa Barfi is ready, serve it. Also, You can store it in an airtight container. 

Tips :

  • If you cook it till it becomes golden brown then the barfi will be even smoother and delicious.
  • You can add nuts as per your choice like pistachios, raisins, whatever you like.
  • You can adjust the sugar powder as per your requirement.
