Ingredients for coconut ladoo
- 2 cup fresh granted or desiccated coconut
- 2 cup of condensed milk ( for adjust sweetness)
- 1/4 cup of milk ( for adjust consistency)
- 1/2 tbsp cardamom powder
- A pinch of salt ( optional, to enhance flover)
- Ghee for greasing your hand
- Extra desiccated coconut for rolling the ladoos
Let's see how to make it step by step:
Prepare the Coconut:
First we will start by finally grating fresh coconut. If you are using desiccated coconut then this is a quicker option since it has less moisture.
Cook the Mixture:
First of all add grated coconut in a non-stick pan and then dry roast it till it gets cooked a little. This step says that the coconut will not taste raw in coconut. But do not let it brown too much.
Add the condensed milk:
Then we added condensed milk to it and will stir it till the coconut gets mixed together. Then we will add some milk too till it becomes a little thick.
Flavor with Cardamom:
If you like coconut or condensed milk blend then add cardamom powder or a pinch of salt. cardamom powder says issamy will add lovely flover which hit our spiciness that complement to sweetness of ladoo.
Form the Ladoos:
Once your mixture starts to become a little thick and starts separating from the sides of the pan, turn off the flame and leave the mixture to cool down a bit. Once the mixture cools down, apply ghee in your hands and shape the mixture into small balls. Then diesscard the extra coconut with it; this will make the texture of your ladoo look more beautiful.

Now your coconut ladoo is ready to eat. Enjoy it or store it in an airtight container. These ladoo stay fresh for a week and you can eat it anytime.
