 Easy  Poha Kaa Chivada At Home 

poha cha chivda is a very tasty snack that you can have during festivals, functions or even in your daily life. You can store these crispy snacks made in less oil for 2 weeks and it will give you the same flavour anytime. Let's see how to make poha cha chivda in an easy way at home.



Ingredients:

  • 2 cup thin poha
  • 1/4 cup penute 
  • 2 tbsp cahana dal( rosted)
  • A handful of curry leaves 
  • 2-3 green chillies 
  • 1/4 tbsp turmeric powder 
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds 
  • 2 tbsp oil 
  • A pich of sugar 
  • Salt to taste 
  • Coconut flakes ( optional)

Let's make it:

Roast the Poha:

Heat wide but low heat to dry roast poha till it becomes crispy. Stir continuously to avoid burning. Once done, keep asides .

Fry Peanuts and Cashews:

Heat oil in a pan. And fry the pannuts till they turn golden brown. Then take them out and keep them aside.

If you are using cashew nuts then fry them similarly. Keep it as is.

Tempering:

Add mustard seeds, sumin seeds in the remaining oil and let it sizzle. Then add curry leaves, green chillies and cook for a few minutes.

Then add roasted gram and coconut flakes in it and fry for 1 minute.

Mix in Spices:

Then low the flame and add turmeric powder, salt and sugar and mix well.

Then add roasted poha and mix everything properly. And mix the poha properly with the spices.

Final Touch:

Then add fried peanut and cashew nuts for final thought.
Now your poha chaa chivda is ready.

Tips:

  •  If you like you can added sev for extra  crispy flavour. 
  •   Poha cha chivda is love to stay crispy so you can store it in airtight container for week.
  • While mixing the poha with the spices,  keep flame low to avoide burning.
